The Spanish Program's Professor Michol Hoffman receives SSHRC funding

Professor Michol Hoffman is among the twenty-six York U researchers to receive SSHRC funding. The $153,660.00 grant, awarded through the Insight Development Grants and Insight Grants Competition, will support York University research that improves the quality of life of Canadians and advances knowledge at the national and international levels. Prof. Hoffman leads a research team including co-applicant Naomi Nagy (University of Toronto) and collaborators Ronald Beline Mendes (University of São Paulo) and James A. Walker (La Trobe University) on "Ethnolinguistic variation and change: Coordinating production and perception." Congratulations to our colleague in the Spanish Program!
